⎯ ABOUT CINTHIA TAYLOR, LMFT, P.L.L.C

Not surface-level therapy — meaningful change. lasting change. real transformation.

You are not looking for surface-level therapy. You are looking for meaningful change. My approach helps clients move beyond insight alone and create lasting transformation.

⎯ MEET CINTHIA

Hi, I’m Cinthia Taylor, LMFT, P.L.L.C

A smiling African American woman with black hair wearing a dark blue shirt and a decorative pearl necklace, sitting at a desk in an office environment.

I believe healing becomes possible when you no longer have to keep performing strength.

Many of the people I work with are deeply thoughtful, highly capable, and incredibly self-aware. From the outside, they often appear successful, grounded, and put together. Yet beneath that exterior, many are carrying anxiety, trauma, exhaustion, loneliness, or a quiet sense that no matter how much they achieve, something still feels unresolved.

I have found that many high-functioning adults know exactly why they struggle. But insight alone does not always create healing. Sometimes the mind understands long before the nervous system feels safe enough to let go.

⎯ MY APPROACH TO THERAPY

More than talking
about what hurts.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply engaged. I am not a passive therapist. I pay close attention to patterns, relational dynamics, emotional responses, and the beliefs that quietly shape how you move through the world.

Together, we look beyond symptoms to understand the deeper story…exploring not only your thoughts, but your emotional world, your relationships, your nervous system, and the survival strategies that may have helped you adapt but no longer serve the life you want to build.

I believe therapy should create both insight and transformation.

A woman with blonde hair, black glasses, and multiple bracelets on her wrist sits on the floor, resting her head on her hand, in a room with a white bookshelf, a pink shirt, and a yellow curtain. A person in a dark suit is partially visible holding a clipboard.

⎯ WHY THIS WORK MATTERS TO ME

Over the years I have walked alongside individuals, couples, and families through some of the most painful moments of their lives. One truth continues to stand out.

"Pain does not discriminate based on intelligence, ambition, education, or success."

Some of the most accomplished people I meet are carrying profound emotional wounds. Healing rarely comes from trying harder. Real transformation happens when old patterns no longer have to dictate your present.

⎯ LET’S BEGIN

Healing Does Not Require Perfection

I do not believe therapy is about becoming someone entirely new.

I believe it is about understanding yourself with greater compassion, releasing what no longer serves you, and creating space for a different way of living.

Growth can be uncomfortable. Healing can be challenging.

It can also be deeply liberating.

If you are ready to begin that work, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
